So, I really don't ever post anything about my personal life, well unless you follow my Twitter or FB. But here it goes anyway.
Last night around 9pm my wife came home from work feeling a little ill. She's been having strange feelings for a little over a week. She decided to take a pregnancy test and low and behold it turned out positive!
We have been trying for a little while to conceive and it has finally happened. We are excited, scared, nervous and anxious. New parents for the first time. It's wonderful, exciting, and frightening all at the same time.
I'm sure there will be many moments in the months, years to follow that my family life will need to come first. I don't plan on stopping this podcast or my show on 1mix, but they know as I hope all of you do, that family life is more important than anything else this world has to offer.
Thank you everyone for your support and well wishes, now comes the running around like a chicken with my head cut off to try and get things in order for the arrival of my first child =)

It's 2010!
Hey everyone;
I haven't written a regular NEWS post in quite some time. Things are going quite well! The podcast has over 300 regular downloads per episode! That means ya'll are spreading the word and actually enjoy what I do! That means more to me than anyone can imagine!
Who would have thunk that less thank a year ago I was just getting back into DJing again and now have a successful podcast. Hell anything over 10 listeners in my book is successful! We have nothing but new music, new experiences and growth to look forward to in 2010!
Super Trance Sunday is going as strong as ever. DJ MoReX and I have been tossing ideas around about re branding the show to something different. He's even been toying around with ways to do interviews during the show. How cool is that.. Web 2.0 at it's best ladies and gentlemen!
I hope ya'll will continue to enjoy my little slice of the world, as long as you do, I'll keep doing it!
Until then, stay tuned! New and exciting things are bound to happen!

December Info Update!
Hey everyone!
Just wanted to give you a heads up on the Mega Mix! It's coming along wonderfully, it's about halfway done and I'm really excited for ya'll to hear it. So excited that I'm doing something I never really do. I'm giving you a small 12 minute preview out of my favorite section so far.

Blog Change Incomming!
Hey Everyone!
Since the Day Job has gone and put everyone on a Furlough (again) until January, I'm contemplating re-working the blog into a more friendly and eye appealing site. Since my lovely wife (Allison or @DrexelGeek on twitter) created these absolutely beautiful CD covers, backgrounds, logos and what not for me. I think they should all be displayed and the blog/site should be along the same lines.
So stay tuned for changes, new looks, layouts, and even a surprise or two.

Podcast Change!
So I've been thinking a bit. I think I'm going to make the podcast a Bi-Weekly type thing. That's right 2 Episodes a month. There's so much great trance coming out each week that there's not enough time to fill it into 1 hour a month. This will also give me an option to do other special mixes, like the Progressive mix I did awhile back and the Vocal mix I'm working on now for Episode 5. If all goes well, and the tunes keep coming out like they have been, I think this will be a fine direction that the show will evolve into!

I know I know, I just posted Episode 003 a little bit ago and here's already news on Episode 004.
I honestly felt bad for throwing together a "Best of 2009" mix for ya'll when I should have been posting new music. So because of that I'm going to do an extended episode for Episode 004. So far I've got 14 new tracks and a nice classic that I randomly found after searching my hard drive for awhile for it.

Episode 003 Info
I will most likely end up using the Imperative Tracks 2009 Part 1 as Episode 3, due to that little emergency I had the other day. These are tracks you've most likely already heard but are some of my favorites so far this year. Part 2 will come after the true Episode 3 is done, which should be in the next week or so.

2009 Mid Year Recap Mix Update
Had a tiny emergancy while doing this mix. Had to postpone it for a little while. Going to try and throw it down today. Doing it old school, 1 take, on the decks, little/no post production. It's like a demo from 1999, cept I'm not recording to a tape or mini-disk. Oh the mini-disk how I miss you.

It's just about the middle of August, know what that means? Time to start getting in gear and making the next episode of the Imperative Trance Podcast.
I've got some goodies lined up for ya'll, things that I haven't heard ANYWHERE else and that makes me happy. I'm heading back to my roots here and sticking with a nice Trance mix. The Progressive Interlude was fun, and maybe I'll do something like that again, or something like Tempest did over on Trance Intercontinental.

Progressive Mix Incomming
So, I decided to create just a purely progressive mix. It sounds pretty bangin' right now. Only problem I'm having is getting it encoded correctly. Once that's done I'll post it for your listening pleasure.

Of course I'm a nub at this so some of the info fields were incorrect with the original feed. That has since been corrected so hopefully they'll update the aggregate shortly.

Listened to about 50+ songs today at work and came up with what I think is a banging playlist of tracks. I'll mix it down tonight or tomorrow. May post the raw version then the mastered version.
